Chrysa Charno, PA
Chrysa Charno, RPA-C, MBA is a board certified Physician Assistant who practices along with Dr. Stephen Vega. She is a native of Syracuse, NY who first went to school at Ithaca College to pursue physical therapy. After becoming exposed to the operating room and the diversity of medicine, she decided to become a physician assistant, studying at Rochester Institute of Technology. Following her graduation with honors in 2003, she has had many experiences in the fields of orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, urgent care medicine and now specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Chrysa brings many talents to the office of Dr. Vega. In addition to assisting Dr. Vega in the operating room and office, she has specialized in non-surgical options for facial rejuvenation including Botox®, Juvederm®, Sculptra® and Radiesse®. Her skills have brought a smile to many patients as they pursue rejuvenation procedures with minimal recovery.
Chrysa is also nationally recognized for her role as Secretary of the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants which allows her to work with both the physician assistant and plastic surgery professional organizations. This past May she completed her Master’s in Business Administration at RIT and hopes to use these skills to improve efficiency within the practice of medicine.
In her spare time, Chrysa enjoys spending time with her family, husband Jason and two Labrador retrievers, Tonka and Boomer.
